Hiring domestic helpers is a hassle.
Domestic helper recruitment in Hong Kong requires a digital transformation to facilitate more efficient connections between helpers and employers.

Key Insights
A total of 6 interviews with helpers and 5 with employers were conducted; 24 survey responses from helpers and 5 from employers were recorded.
Interview + Survey
One group of potential app users will be people who are busy with work, requiring the need to hire helpers. Therefore, my goal was to make the app as simple to use as possible in order to save users' time. I used procreate to quickly sketch out my ideas.

* Due to time constraints and the scope of this project, the client advised that this feature be included only for future development of the project.
Ideas
Design System
Blue was chosen as the brand color since it appears cool, transparent, and trustworthy. A lighter shade of blue also conveys a more relaxed and carefree image, which is consistent with the brand's image.
High-fidelity Prototype
The final screens were designed to meet the needs of potential users.
I created the high-fidelity prototype using Figma.
In general, I wanted a modern look with a minimalist design that would portray a credible image of the brand.
Sneak Peak
Organizing Information
A substantial portion of the app, such as the job and employer details, will be filled with customized information. Therefore, I wanted the screens to be clean, well-organized, and simple to read. I was inspired by dating apps, where a user's information is also highly customizable.
Priority
The most important information, such as salary and work day, is displayed at the top. Badges are used to present tasks and helper preferences as it adds aesthetic value, and the content of these sections can change.
